I have a Brother DCP 120C printer issue, so this is a printer driver?

My computer is a Emachine digital medial manager T6532 Desktop with 200 GB Hard Drive 1024 MB DDR SDRAM dual channel my printer / scanner is a Brother DCP-120C. The problem is that since I changed my ink cartridges, it has slowed considerably. It literally takes 10 minutes or more to print only half a page words only. It was fine before. I defraged my computer and cleaning up disk space and also looking and have plenty of space hard for my pritner. What could be the problem? I searched for problems on the website for the brother site and they do not open until Monday and I have to wait until they e-mail me for answers. I was hopeing for some good answers to some computer / printer assistant engineers here. Thank you in advance for your replies in kind. Moreover, they ask us when I sent them what driver I'm using. How can I find that. As you can tell, I am somewhat computer illiterate. Printer driver.

Go to the Brother website and download the latest driver version. Maybe that will help, it can not hurt anything.
