Number of CD/DVD drives? type of graphics card I have?
Where do I look to find the number of CD/DVD drives my computer has?
What about where to look for the type of graphics card my computer has? Thank you in advance for the answers you may know!
I know that there is only 1 spot for the CD/DVD, I was meaning sometimes they're called dual something or other so they do more than one thing or other. I feel silly, but I don't know how else to ask it!
I went to the site for gpu but I have no idea what the validation ID would be, any ideas anyone??
dual layer burner was what I was meaning, I think lol. The reason I was asking the questions is because one of the questions to answer in my computer literacy class is: What is the number of DVD and/or CD drives your computer has and is it readable and writeable? I know it's readable and rewritable, I just didn't think she'd be asking whether we have more than one place for DVDs so I assumed the question had to do with something "duel" related that you were talking about.
For the number of CD/DCD drives you have just look on the outside....I don't see how that's not obvious.
As for the GPU download GPU-Z
http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/
Basically gives you all the information you need about your GPU.
Validation is if you want to post how far you overclocked your GPU and want others to see. Go to here to download

As far the CD/DVD go do you mean dual layer burner? Like it can burn on the 9GB DVDs instead of just the 4.5GB DVDs? Or are you asking like can they burn DVD+R, DVD-R, that kind of thing?
Go to Control Panel, then System, then Hardware Manager, then to CD/DVD drive, then find the name of your optical drive, then google it.
